So it's very well established that I am a horrible blogger right? Good:) LOL Well let's see so much has been going on in our personal life but I won't go there tonight!! Also I am back to designing w/ my baby sister again for Plain Digital Wrapper s that consumes alot of my time. BUT Last month I also joined their Creative Team so I am resolving to get better at blogging, not just here but on our design blog as well!! I'll come back a little later and get caught up with all our new CT LO's so that I can start this blog anew and hopefully keep up with it!!!

Somehow "tomorrow" turned into about 17 days later, oops ;) Been busy doing family togetherness stuff my Aunt was here visiting from Maine the past week, sad to see her go. OK so I decided the other day that since my blog was looking rather outdated I should revamp it. I made up a new header and then set about to change the look *sigh* 3 hours later I ended with this rather boring setup we have going on here. Maybe I will tackle it again when I have a few spare moments and am feeling more technologically inclined.

So remember I said I found a new "home" at PDW, amazingly friendly group of gals& a few "old" faces, I'm loving it. ANYWAY so I have just been accepted to be on the Julie. ItIs. CT :) Since I have been feeling rather rusty from my digi-scrap hiatus it's kind of nice to feel like HEY maybe I still got it! Ha geesh I remember the days when I was juggling 6 CT's, I don't think I am going to be doing that to myself again anytime soon but I am SUPER excited because I LOVE her work. Y'all have got to go check it out and I will be back later on tonight or in the morning to post the LO's I have done w/ her kits so far.

PDW Wrap Star LO's

OK so Week One was called "Some assembly required"and we got a template and this AWESOME kit called Firefly by Southern Creek Designs to play with.

Week 2 was "Wow! I didn't expect that" in which we used the kit Tidings by Starving Artist Design but the catch was to show versatility and scrap non-holiday photo's with it.

Week 3 was called "The Thank You Note" and it was (for me anyway) a 2 part challenge because we got to choose a kit from Julie ItIs's store and then journal about something we were proud of (the photo's couldn't include faces). I worked with Savor and here's my LO...

The final week was "Tear it Up" and we worked with Everyday Moments by ScrapDZines.

What a blast!!! This has definitely got me excited about scrapping again:) Hmm I am also realizing my blog DEFINITELY needs a major redo! Think I shall work on that!

Hmm so I have been MIA from the Digi-world for quite a while. First I got busy designing and couldn't keep up with designing and scrapping the way I wanted. Then Real life started interfering and so I just took a hiatus from it all.

Most of the places I used to frequent seem to have disappeared but I have been hanging out at Plain Digital Wrapper and wow what a super sweet bunch of ladies there! They have also just finished a contest called "Wrap Star" that I have been participating in and I've had SOOO much fun remembering how much I love digi-scrapping and a good challenge. I'll post the LO's in a little bit, it seems obvious to me I am still a bit rusty though so try not to laugh, please:)

Hmmmm, so it's been previously established in the past that I am a HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, NO GOOD blogger; right? Ever since I started designing I have been way worse though, right? I've just had so much on my plate lately that finding the time to blog has kind of fallen by the wayside but I really do want to get back to blogging, on all 3 of my blogs; this one, our design blog, and my Motherless Daughter one.

I also haven't had much time for scrapping what with designing and have dropped most of my CT's; in fact I am currently only on Brandi White's CT now. I'm tired and getting ready for bed but thought I would show off the CT LO I did a few weeks ago AND show off the desktop I did for a challenge @ DSG just to show y'all how big my adorable "niece & nephew" have gotten.

WOW, so I have been totally neglecting this blog, haven't I? Well my one and only New Year's resolution is to be better at Blogging. There's just been so much going on with the holidays, etc.

Also my Lil Sis and I have been VERY busy. We've taken our digi scrap obsession to the next level and we're now OFFICIALLY DESIGNERS! That's right Bratty Sisters Designs is now selling at Digital Scrap Garden and the new soon to open Digi Bytes! We're very excited about this new venture.BUT I'dlike to keep this blog more about my life and CT stuff SO if you wanna read more about Bratty Sisters Designs then you can visit our Design Blog.

I can't even remember at this point which CT Layouts I have or Haven't posted here so I will be working on some new one's this weekend and I think I'll just start fresh there. OK well after over a month of not Bloging guess I am catching up by doing 2 posts today, LOL.I was reading Leslie's blog after I already posted and saw that she tagged me with these Questions SO here are my answers! :)

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
I HATE wrapping but for Christmas I usually do wrap quite a bit but use bags for those odd sized/shapped presents=)

2. Real or Artificial tree?
Artificial, a real tree would never last a whole month here in FL, plus they're EXPENSIVE since they have to be shipped here from the northern states. Oh and it's so much less hassle, shove it in a bag and store it in the attic, lol.

3. When do you put up the tree?
The weekend after Thanksgiving, after we've recouped from Black Friday;)

4. When do you take the tree down?
Ummm, whenever we get around to it, sometime between the days preceding Christmas and New Years.

5. Do you like Eggnog?
Not really a fan, I have an aversion to anything with a strange texture and uhh eggnog definitely has a strange texture.

6. Favorite Gift you received as a child?
My Mom always worked really hard to get most everything on my Christmas list. But one thing I LOVED (ans miss now) was that she always put Tranquil Moments Shower gel (by Avon) in my Stocking. Also there was always a family gift under the tree that was a box full of family movies from a club they joined. It was so scool to open them and read what they were about and then watch them together as a family.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes, kind of. Last year my Dad bought me a lil precious moments ceramic natitvity that has Mary, Joeseph, baby Jesus, and the manger.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
My Dad and Tom, Men they're hard! Oh and my Grandparents aren't that easy either, they have everything they want or can buy it and won't ever give you ideas.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
My "niece" and "Nephew" kids are so easy and fun to buy for, yay I get scope out the toys=)

10. Worst Christmas gift ever received?
Hmmm, can't really say I have ever gotten a bad Christmas git, sometimes I get clothes that don't fit but they can always be exchanged for the right size. My family knows my style, thank goodness, lol.

OH MY, I have been a HORRIBLE blogger, now haven't I??? I am so sorry that I haven't been updating. Things have just been crazy, hectic around here. First my Nephew was in the hospital for 5 days and got to come home RIGHT before thanksgiving. And now it just seems with the holidays there is SOOO much to do that I can't find time to get it all done!!

Oh yeah and my lil sis and I joined a Design contest at Digital Scrap Garden (The link will take you to the preview of our second week Kit). I'm having a bit of a rough day today because today would have been my Mom's 51st birthday. Unfortunately she'll always be 48 (the age she died at). I miss her so much and especially on days like these.

Oh, and I am still so tired from my trip on Saturday. OK so a friend and I went over to Boca Raton on Saturday for a workshop. Now since that is on the opposite coast it should be a 4-5 hour drive, right? We ended up getting a little off track in the morning, now did I forget to mention we left at 4:30 AM because the workshop started @ 10, but it only took us about 5 1/2 hours. OK so I figured with my total lack of directional skills that wasn't too bad. We had a great day and left Boca about 5 PM, now if your following even if it took the same amount of time that it had taken that morning, we should have been home at 10:30 PM. Would you care to guess what time we got home? 1 AM, it took us EIGHT HOURS to get home!!!!! Needless to say 12 + hours of driving has left me a bit sore and tired.

OK so those are my rants of the day. Are we ready for the next batch of CT LO's (that I had every intention of posting Saturday evening but if you read above you'll see why that didn't happen=)

Ever have one of those days....

Ever have one of those days where the minute you woke up you wished you could go back to sleep? Crawl under the covers and just stay there. That's the kind of day I am having. I woke up at 7am to find the nagging headache from the night before, which I contemplated getting up to get several ibuprofen for but couldn't find the energy, had turned into a full scale, bordering on migraine headache. Now, of course, I regret the decision not to get up but I had just started to drift off when I felt the twinges and with the trouble I've been having sleeping lately getting up most likely would have meant staying awake another 2-3 hours.

Then at 7:30 Cheri showed up with the baby and asked if I could take Mia to school, normally I have no problem with this (we only live 5 minutes from her private school) but when you can barely function because your head is throbbing getting dressed and driving don't sound like an appealing aspect. Oh and not to mention Mia was in the car screaming her head off that she did NOT want Auntie yaya to take her to school she wanted her mommy to take her to school. Which of course she continued to scream and cry at the top of her very powerful 4 year old lungs when she came into the house. Now I have been having to take her to school at least 2 times a week ever since school started 2 months ago. Of all the days to pick to scream and cry she has to pick the day where my head is going to explode.

Life has just been HECTIC around here, well ya know that's nothing out of the ordinary but Geez if life could just slow down every once in awhile it'd be great! We're finally past September AKA crazy Birthday hell month, lol. Plus my grandmother has been REALLY sick the past week. We got an emergency phone call from my "grandfather" on Wednesday because he was having a hard time waking her up and keeping her awake. She refused to go to the ER so we toted her to the DR's office after-hours. Turns out she had a very bad UTI that she's had at least 6-8 weeks *sigh* She seems to think telling the Nurse and nursing student of the family little details is not important! Anyway so she finally seems to be on the mend as she baked biscuits and brought us over some last night. THANK GOODNESS! Not for the biscuits (though they were good, lol) but that I can stop stressing about her being sick, I think.

So on to my exciting CT news, no I have NOT joined another CT, rofl. But one of my CT Lo's got picked for Moo Two Designs Layout of the Day for Oct 4th! It's actually a Layout of the Week contest, each day they pick a new LO and then at the end of the week they pick one of the LOD to be LOW. You can check it out here. Oh, and here's the winning LO:

My Exciting News...Announced=)

OK so are y'all ready for my Exciting news? I have been accepted to my 5th CT!! I am Now on Stephanie Broccolo's (at SOTB) Creative Team. I think this will be my final CT for awhile, don't want to overextend myself.

OK, so I never got around to those CT LO's I promised. I swear if I don't get them up tonight I will definitely get them on here by tomorrow.

And for today's Blog prompt: Tell us what is in your jewelry collection. Any favorite bits and pieces? What do you like to wear?

Let's see the jewelry collection that I wear EVERY single day consists of 6 pieces. 4 rings: one is a sterling silver ring with an onyx in the center and scrolly designs on the side that was my Mom's, one is a small silver ring with a pink natural stone that I got when we went to a gem Mine 2 summers ago in Maine, one is a silver pentagram, and the fourth is a silver band with a moon and three stars cut out of it. I also have a silver heart necklace that contains a small amount of my mom's ashes. And the last thing I always wear is my pooh and tigger watch=)

I also have a jewelry box that contains some of my Mom's other pieces of jewelry, 4 rings some necklaces and earrings. These are her more expensive pieces like opals and her mothers ring that I only wear on special occasions. And there is also a necklace, a sapphire hanging off a square with a heart cut into it that my Mom bought me; the chain is broke and I need to get it fixed so I can wear it again.

I also have an organizer full of earrings that I occasionally wear. I have 2 sets of holes but often forget to wear earrings, lol. I also have a couple pentagram necklaces, one with a sapphire, that I wear occasionally.

OK so is everyone bored of hearing about my jewelry now;)

Ummm so does three posts almost a week ago make up for the fact that I haven't blogged since??? Oh probably not, lol. One of these day's I'll get less sporadic about blogging I swear=)

I have some exciting news in the works but shhhhh Mum's the word for right now! You'll have to keep checking back to see if I've posted it yet=) I've been working on more CT LO's and working diligently to get the 19 monthly challenges done @ SOTB.

OK, a bit behind the time's but I have a response to yesterday's, Blog Prompt@ Designs in Digital. It's all about dream's. I have to admit I don't often remember my dreams unless they're really far out there, sad, scary, etc lol. But this Question in particular is easy for me to answer: Have you had any dreams you've never forgotten?

For about 2 months after my Mom died every time I closed my eyes all I could see was her laying in her casket. I had several dreams about it, I think this is because I was distressed, well a. for obvious reasons and b. because my Mom NEVER parted her hair yet at the viewing her hair was parted and I kept wanting to fix it but knew I couldn't bear to touch her and feel how cold and lifeless she'd be.

I also had a dream about something that happened at the viewing/wake. We had a closed casket funeral, out of respect for my Mom's side of the family who was catholic, so when it was time to leave I knelt in front of the casket to say my goodbye's but I just couldn't seem to get up. I didn't want to leave her, to say goodbye. I knew it would be the last time I ever saw my Mom (even if she was dead) and I just couldn't bear to leave her alone. I had this overwhelming desire to just lay down on the bench and sleep there until the next morning when they took her to the funeral home so she wouldn't be alone, even though I knew she was no longer there in her body. One of my relatives, I still don't even remember who, had to take me by the elbow and lead me from the funeral home. I had a very vivid dream about this and woke up with tears streaming down my cheeks.

OK, well that's my rambling for the night. I need to go to bed I will post some CT LO's tomorrow and maybe my news, we'll see=)

OK, I'm back again. WOW THREE posts in ONE day (well probably it is now technically tomorrow since it's midnight, lol) Don't y'all feel SPECIAL, lol.

I was checking out the blogs of everyone who commented, thanks ladies=) And I just had to come back and post again because Kristy's blog had a blogger prompt (you can find it HERE) So I just had to come back and post about it.

The question is: Who do you miss the most from your past?

I miss my MOM, ALOT! My Mom died 2 years and 7 months ago. Somedays I can't believe it's been that long and other days it feels like forever since I've felt her hugs, heard her voice and laughter. I miss being able to call her and tell her the goings on of my life, to vent, or cry on her shoulder. I have suffered alot of losses already in my life and when I was missing my loved ones my Mom was always there to comfort me. But now it is my Mom who is gone. I can't concieve of how I am going to go through the rest of my life without my Mom's reassurance, guidance, and just general being there for everything. OK well I think I've rambeled enough, if ya wanna read more on the subject visit my other blog.

Ok, yes I am a BAD blogger, lol. But I wanted to stop in and let everyone in on some exciting news. A few days ago I got accepted to my 4th CT!! Yay, I am now CT'ing for Julie Major at Digital Candy.

You should really stop by and check out her stuff, and all the other great stuff, sign up for the forum even, the ladies there are all very friendly=) I will be posting my first set of LO's from Julie's "Moonlight Dreams" later on today so, stay tuned... Well, today is my Little sisters 19th birthday. MY GOSH, how time flies, my BABY sister is 19??? WOW, I just can't believe it. And of course as she had to point out that means my birthday is now exactly 2 weeks away *sighs* but we're not discussing how old I am going to be.

So since it's Mego's birthday I spent the day making a lil' kit for her w/ her fave colors. Here are a couple of the things I did:

So if you haven't figured it out by now her favorite colors are black, Lime green, and hot pink. Well silver too but I haven't gotten that far, lol.

WOW, so it was a rare day today in which I actually got two free hours to scrap! I had just gotten Leslie's new kit "Howlereen" (available @ Moo two Designs) and I have been dying to play with it! Since it's fast approaching Halloween I needed to scrap LAST years photos so I can scrap this years (hopefully sooner) lol.
